Branding exercise for a new bicycle brand
Context
Jon Ander Arakama, a mechanics teacher and bicycle enthusiast, wants to start a new project to manufacture bicycles made of iron frames. With this in mind, he invites undergraduate students to make a branding proposal for the as yet non-existent brand called ‘Arakama’.
Research
The brand stands out for the use of iron in the construction of bicycles, with the resistance and hardness of the materials being the brand's hallmark.
Logotype
"Steel cylinder joints that create a mesh intended to leave an imprint on any surface". The pattern simulates the passage of a tyre engraving a medal.
Scalable and versatile logo that is recognisable and legible in very small as well as large sizes.
